It’s a brand new year, which means a fresh start and endless opportunities. To continue on our mission to capture the story of our City, we’re launching a new monthly column called Five Favourite Things.
Every month we’ll pick a theme and ask you to submit a list of your five favourites as they relate to that theme. We’ll share your favourites on the blog so that others can learn more about the hidden gems of our City — and each other.
So tell us: what are your five favourite things to do in Vaughan during the winter season?
Here are five favourites submitted by members of our Corporate Communications team:
- Tobogganing at Boyd Park
- Taking my kids to Reptilia Zoo
- Outdoor skating at Father E. Bulfon Community Centre
- Making snow forts in the backyard
- Drinking my Nonna’s coffee made with fresh cinnamon sticks
If you are interested in participating and sharing your top picks with other Our Story, Our City blog readers, please email us a list of your five favourites by Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell us what Vaughan community you live in (Concord, Kleinburg, Maple, Thornhill or Woodbridge).
Please be sure to review our social media policy for content submission guidelines.
Thank you for your submissions!
